The system allows you to add assessments of the preservation status of objects, record maintenance performed, record object movements, record the participation of objects in events, draw up an object inventory, add images and multimedia to objects, perform advanced searches of a collection of objects using multiple filtering criteria, and build complex multi-criteria queries – so-called queries, where logical conditions can be combined with AND/OR operators. Muza adapts to the user – it is possible to configure and create personalized object card view templates, object filters, object list view templates, reports.
Who can use the muza system?
The MUZA system is designed for museums, galleries and archives. It can be used by institutions regardless of their size and the specifics of their operations, as the system adapts to the individual needs of each institution.
What are the technical requirements for using muza?
MUZA is a browser-based system, which means it does not require the installation of additional software. The system can be accessed on various devices via a web browser, which significantly simplifies the implementation process and daily use.
Can the system be tailored to the specific needs of the institution?

What types of collections can be managed in the Muza system?
The Muza system allows you to manage a wide spectrum of collections. This includes works of art, historical, ethnographic, zoological, archaeological, botanical, anthropological, geological and medical collections. The system is tailored to handle a wide variety of collections and their specific requirements, regardless of the size of the collection.
How does Muza support searching and filtering collections?
The system offers full-text search, which allows users to quickly find any object in the database. Users have numerous filters at their disposal to limit the results to objects meeting selected criteria, for example, by type, location or date. In addition, the system has a special query module for constructing more complex queries.
How does the facility card management system work?
The object card in the Muza system displays detailed data on each object, divided into sections and fields. The system provides a full history of data changes, where each user has access to a detailed history of all modifications. Users can personalize card views, customizing the interface to suit their needs.
How does Muza handle multimedia?

Is the data in muza validated?
Yes, the system validates, among other things, the records in the object cards – it checks whether the object cards have the necessary record data, whether certain required fields are filled in.
What is the "Features" field in the object card used for?
The “Features” field can provide information about the characteristic features of the object, such as scratches, watermark, signature.
Are object names/titles editable?
While this is possible, it requires users to have specific permissions in the system and depends on the internal policies of the facility.
Can working files be placed in the media module?
Multimedia in the muza system can have different flags. If a file is uploaded to the system but is a working/sketch file, it should not have the “digitizing” flag set.
What are the QR codes in the Muza system used for?
The system allows to generate QR codes for objects. Such codes, once printed, can be placed on/near objects to easily identify and find them in the system – scanning the QR code with a dedicated application will display a link to the object in the Muza system (going to the object card requires logging in).
Is it possible to compare photos in the Muse?
The Muza system allows you to compare up to 4 images simultaneously on a single page.
Does the system support copy and paste functions?
The muza system has two copy and paste functions: the copy and paste function for values within individual fields in object cards, and the “Copy/Paste Multiple Field Values” function. where you can simultaneously copy data from multiple fields in one object card, and then paste it into another object card.
What formats are reports generated to in the Muza system?
Reports can be generated to various formats: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, XML.
Can you create custom report templates in the system?
The printout generator allows users to configure their own reports for objects with the indication of specific fields from object cards and save them as templates. You can also upload your own process report templates (with columns).
Is it possible to download media from muza?
Yes, the photos are in the form of thumbnails when imported into the system, but they can be downloaded at a higher resolution for better image quality.
What is an object registry?
A registry is, in other words, a list. The Muza system allows you to create registers of objects, multimedia, dictionaries.
